Dog Breeds

What is Dog Breed

Dog breeds refer to the specific varieties of dogs developed by selective breeding. Different dog breeds have been bred for different physical characteristics, such as size, coat type and color, temperament, and special talents or abilities.

This has enabled dog owners to choose a dog that fits their lifestyle, environment, and personality. Dog breeds can be divided into three categories: sporting dogs, working dogs, and toy dogs. Sporting dogs were originally bred for hunting activities such as retrieving game birds or flushing out hidden animals from dense cover. They are often active, and energetic and require plenty of exercises. Examples of this breed include retrievers, spaniels, and setters.
